Free waffle earbud keychain/holder crochet pattern

Hey friends!

Thank you for visiting today!

I have so many new patterns, and ideas i can’t wait to share with you! A stack full, to be exact. Think beanies, crossbodies, new trivets, and so much more. So many fun things have been happening behind the scenes.

Today is one of my new faves. I use this ALL the time because i am always losing mine, especially in the many project bags i have. They usually get loss or tangled in a bunch of yarn or projects. I like this type that i designed for two reasons. One, it’s super easy to do hardware or no hardware. I love the keychain option with hardware because so many purses and bags have little pieces of fabric on the inside where you can hook or attach things, which is perfect for latching your earbud holder. I also love the way this little pouch closes. Hardware or no hardware, it’s super easy and secures your headphones without any buttons or snaps.

These holders are super quick for me to work up and easy for me to batch make for market prep, bulk gifts for the office, or bulk prep for any brick and mortar you may have a space in. I know i am currently bulk prepping for a September event, and for my space in downtown Columbia at Kindred Collections. So if you’re local and not a maker, you can find some there!

I made this kind of based off of my waffle trivet pattern, so if you loved that pattern and found it easy, then this pattern is perfect for you! Depending on what you are making these for, they are pretty easy to make a bunch of pieces, and then assemble everything.

Not a maker? No problem. You can grab your very own waffle earbud keychain here

So, let’s get to it.

Firsts things first, gather all your materials.

you will need;

  • f hook

  • scissors
  • yarn needle

ABBREVIATIONS;

SC – single crochet

DC – double crochet

ST(S) – stitch(es)

FSC – foundation single crochet

Notes; you can use any yarn (weight 4). You could also use something like yarn bee soft and sleek, or ILTY. I chose cotton for this because it holds up so well, but feel free to venture out and explore other options!
