Hello Friend!
Today I am (as always) super excited to be releasing a pattern. This pattern has never been released before. I have been receiving messages for the last year or so asking if sell the pattern to my now named Oil City beanie. I didn’t for so long because I thought, there’s a ton of those bobble beanies out there. But recently I received a lovely message on Etsy telling me how nice this beanie looked and how they would be excited to be able to purchase this pattern from me. Well, I obviously knew it was time to remake, readjust and release this pattern.
As always you are able to get it in my Etsy shop, in an inexpensive pdf file which makes it easy for you to access across all of your devices or gives you a nice document that is perfect for printing.
This pattern has been one of my most loved patterns by me. I love the light bobbles, and I especially love the nice break up of the rows of bobbles by that gorgeous herringbone stitch. Like most of my patterns, this one is available in women’s, child, and toddler. This beanie is also unique because it’s worked brim side up and cinched shut which gives it an amazing very slight slouchy fit. It’s perfect with or without pompoms, and that’s the second reason I love this beanie.
Let’s get into it!
